Cookies
Which ones we set, what they do, and how to turn the optional ones off.
Draft. Fill in the yellow fields and delete any row for a tool you don't actually use. Article 11.7a Telecommunicatiewet requires consent before anything but a strictly necessary cookie is set, so the banner has to work before this page is true.

1. What a cookie is
A small file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser next time. Some are needed for the site to work. The rest are optional, and we only set those if you say yes.
2. What we set
As it stands today, this website sets no cookies at all. It has no accounts, no tracking and no analytics. Your choice of English or Dutch is carried in the address bar, so nothing about it is stored on your device.
That will change when listings, messages and video go live. When it does, we will list every cookie here by name, together with what it does and how long it lasts, and a banner will ask before anything optional is set. Dutch law (article 11.7a Telecommunicatiewet) requires that consent in advance for anything beyond a strictly necessary cookie, and refusing will be exactly as easy as accepting.
We will not run advertising cookies, and we will not let anyone track you across other websites.
3. Your choice
There is nothing to choose yet, because nothing optional is set. Once there is, a banner will appear on your first visit and you will be able to change your answer at any time from this page.
4. Blocking them yourself
Every browser can block or delete cookies in its settings. Nothing on this site depends on them today, so blocking them changes nothing for you right now.
5. More
What we do with the data behind these cookies is set out in our privacy policy. Questions go to rotterdam@mello-housing.nl.
